Veterans Day Tribute Concert-November 11th, 2018. **Nine Veterans were hired in performance and production*

In a collaborative effort with the production team, we conducted interviews with Veterans from multiple generations, including WWII Vets from the Honor Flights. Filming and still photography permits were secured for the National Mall and Memorial Parks. Filming Veteran stories as focus pieces. On-stage live performances. PSAs featuring Veteran businesses, such as Flags of Valor. Facilitated the first ever-approved use of Drones for Videography Inside Washington National Cathedral, filmed by Veteran Buzz Covington—editing process.

Frances’ goal was to bring authenticity to the production by giving first look hiring consideration to Veterans. Nine Veterans were hired in performance and production, raising production value and the perception of Veterans across the entertainment industry spectrum.

The concert was a spectacular event witnessed by the 2,500 attendees and 6,000+ viewers watching online streaming via the National Cathedral website and YouTube.

Washington National Cathedral is dedicated to serving as a house of prayer for all people and a spiritual home for the nation. The Cathedral produces an annual Veterans Day performance event honoring veterans and their families as part of the Cathedral’s ministries to veterans and the military community.
